The Planning Commission met on Thursday, December 15th to review the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Ordinance. Several of the CPAC members were in attendance and gave testimony. The discussion lasted about three hours from 7-10:30 pm. According to Bud Miller, CPAC Secretary who was one of the members in attendance, the Commissioners decided to send the draft back to the Department of Community Development for further revisions. It will also be sent through the Work Force Task Force, the committee that worked on this issue, before returning to the Planning Commission for another meeting and review. Bud noted that a number of minor changes were discussed during the meeting and that the opposition by Pacific City/Woods was noted.
