Just a reminder about the emergency CAC meeting on Saturday, February 3 at 10:30am at the Pacific Coast Bible Church.
Single Agenda item: Vote to support or not support the current proposed revision of the PC/Woods Community Plan (also referred to as the Comprehensive Plan).
Please note, this is not a vote on whether to adopt the proposed changes to the community plan. The vote results will be presented to the Tillamook County Community Development Department as public opinion on the proposed plan. The Planning Commission will receive our vote results as well as all public opinions/comments before their meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2018. The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners who will meet to discuss and decide on the proposed plan on March 29, 2018.
I have reviewed the PC/W CAC by-laws about voting matters. The by-laws state that in order to vote at a CAC meeting you must be a member of the CAC and must have signed the attendance sheet for the meeting. The vote will be by a show of hands, not by ballot.

Last night we had a very lively debate over the proposed changes to the PC/Woods Community Plan. We wanted to take a vote on whether the CAC membership supports or does not support the draft of the PC/W Community Plan as currently presented, but many people had not read the plan through yet and there were many proposed changes that were discussed and clarified at our meeting last night. A vote was not able to be taken at the meeting and members voted to hold a special emergency CAC meeting in a couple weeks to hold a vote on whether CAC membership supports or opposes the proposed changes to the PC/Woods Community Plan.
